Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the booking and provision of services by MZK4U Sounds ('we', 'us', 'our'), a Coventry-based events entertainment company. By confirming a booking with us, you ('the client') agree to these terms.

Please read these terms carefully before confirming your booking. If you have any questions, contact us before proceeding.

2. Bookings and confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when we have received a signed booking form (or written confirmation by email) and the required deposit. Until both are received, your date is not secured and may be offered to other clients.

All bookings are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

3. Deposits and payment

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Failure to pay the balance by the agreed date may result in cancellation of the booking. We accept payment by bank transfer. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP).

4. Cancellation by the client

If you cancel your booking, the deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. If you cancel within 30 days of the event date, the full balance remains due. If you cancel between 31 and 60 days before the event, 50% of the remaining balance is due. Cancellations more than 60 days before the event date will forfeit the deposit only.

All cancellations must be made in writing (email is acceptable). The cancellation date is the date we receive written notice.

5. Cancellation by MZK4U Sounds

In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your booking due to circumstances beyond our control (including illness, accident, or force majeure), we will endeavour to provide a suitable replacement of equivalent quality. If this is not possible, we will refund all monies paid, including the deposit. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid.

6. Event details and changes

You are responsible for providing accurate event details at the time of booking, including the venue address, start and finish times, and any access requirements. Please notify us of any changes as soon as possible.

Changes to the agreed services may be subject to additional charges. Any changes must be agreed in writing.

7. Venue and access

The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue permits the use of our equipment and services, including adequate power supply, access for load-in and load-out, and any relevant permissions. We accept no liability for any issues arising from venue restrictions that were not disclosed to us in advance.

8. Behaviour and conduct

We reserve the right to refuse to perform or to cease performing if we or our staff are subjected to abusive, threatening or unreasonable behaviour by the client or their guests. In such circumstances, no refund will be given.

9. Liability

Our total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that booking. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of enjoyment or disappointment.

We hold public liability insurance. Details are available on request.

10. Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
